Beurtvaartadres facilitates the logistic sector in the Netherlands. Beurtvaartadres provides training, freight documents and assorted administrative products for the large dutch transportation industry. Their first app is an iPhone and Android app to facilitate the correct transportation of dangerous goods (European regulations for dangerous goods: ADR)

Challenges:

Provide a extensive body of regulatory information in a reliable, useful and easy-to-use app.

Assist Beurtvaartadres by structuring the App lifecyle process from idea to end-product.

iPad and Android tablet app for ToysXL

ToysXL is a chain of toy superstores in the Netherlands. The landscape for retailers like ToysXL is rapidly moving towards on-line and App based activities. iPad and Tablets are increasingly popular in home settings and kids of all ages use them regularly. Therfore an iPad and Android tablet app was a logical step for ToysXL. In August 2012 ToysXL approached us to help them take their first steps into the world of mobile and tablet apps.

Challenges:

Develop an App that is intuitive and fun for a diverse age group.
Connect the central concept in the app to the ToysXL brand and marketing campaign “De grote verlanglijst” without annoying parents with overt sales triggers.
Deliver an app which is genuinely useful for the intended audience (kids age 3-11).
Short time to market: Start to finish in 6 weeks, launch well before the Christmas season.
Deliver for not just the high-end Samsung tablets, but also for mid to low-end Android devices that are increasingly popular and are sold in the ToysXL stores.

iPhone and Android Pension App for BeFrank

BeFrank is the first PPI (premiepensioeninstelling) on the Dutch market. A change in Dutch law in 2011 allowed PPI’s to become part of the Dutch pension system. To increase transparency in pension funds, PPI’s are allowed to manage funds without taking investment risks. PPI’s thus enable a clear separation of costs and risks which is beneficial to pension contributors. BeFrank is a joint venture of leading pension insurer Delta Lloyd and leading investment bank BinckBank.

Challenges:

Provide a useful and easy-to-use app with a ‘try-out’ flow for prospective customers and a login flow for existing customers.

Android app for pharmacies

Together with leading healthcare internet service provider Pharmeon we (ItudeMobile) created an Android app for pharmacies which is widely used by several pharmacy chains. A calendar and notifications are integrated with pharmacy systems to improve medication compliance and improve customer loyalty to the pharmacies. The application is aimed at users of the contraceptive pill.

Mobile trading for Alex.nl and Binckbank

For leading internet banks Alex.nl and BinckBank.nl we (ItudeMobile) created a set of mobile trading apps and mobile trading websites to cater for traders in four countries. iPhone, iPad, Android, Android tablet apps allow smartphone users to view their portfolio and place trades any time, any place. Mobile trading websites provide similar services for legacy phone owners. The mobile trading apps offer complex functionality with over 40 different screens and a wealth of trading functions. Furthermore the apps are integrated directly into the backend systems of the bank. These applications go several steps further than simply viewing quotes. Users can view their bank account and portfolio, access realtime streaming quotes and place trades in stocks and derivatives.
