A change in Dutch law in 2011 allowed PPI’s to become part of the Dutch pension system. To increase transparency in pension funds, PPI’s are allowed to manage funds without taking investment risks. PPI’s thus enable a clear separation of costs and risks which is beneficial to pension contributors. BeFrank is a joint venture of leading pension insurer Delta Lloyd and leading investment bank BinckBank.

Challenges:

Provide a useful and easy-to-use app with a ‘try-out’ flow for prospective customers and a login flow for existing customers.

What we (itudeMobile) did:

  • Assist BeFrank by structuring the App lifecyle process from idea to end-product.
  • Native iPhone and Android implementation. Re-use of code between platforms to minimize development effort.
  • Extensive, secure integration with back-end systems
